Accrual Plans

Use this page to set up and maintain the accrual plans that are assigned to benefit groups and to individual employees who negotiate different earnings rates or schedules.
To accommodate groups of employees who earn accruals in different ways, each accrual plan may encompass multiple accrual profiles (vacation, sick, personal, comp) and rule sets, allowing for a straightforward way to apply plans to benefit groups and employees.
Accrual plans that already have been set up display in a grid. Those that have been validated show green check marks
in the Validated column; those that have not show red Xs
.
The bottom border of the grid contains a series of buttons. To see what a button does, click its image below:

To add an accrual plan to the grid, click the New button, located in the bottom border of the grid. To edit an accrual plan, click the edit icon
, located in the cell immediately to the left of the Accrual Plan code. In either instance, the Accrual Plan Entry page opens, containing the detailed data for the plan, including all of the accrual profiles associated with the plan.
Note: A plan that has been used in a payroll cannot be edited.
To delete an accrual plan, click the delete icon
, located in the far-left cell of the corresponding row. A dialog asks you to confirm the delete.

To assign user rights to accruals processing, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > Security > Users. The User List page opens.
- Select (highlight) the user to be given rights to accrual processing.
- Click Permissions. The Permissions page for the selected user opens, showing a grid of application components.
- Click the Show Search link in the top-right corner of the page. The Component Name, Application and Company Name search fields display.
- In the Component Name field, type Accrual Plan Setup.
- Select the Human ResourcesApplication.
- Click Search. The grid refreshes to show only the Accrual Plan Setupcomponent.
- Check the appropriate processes to which the user is assigned.
- Click Save.
- For the authorization to take effect, the user must sign off and sign on the system.
