Operator's Licenses
Human Resources > Workforce Administration > Search > Employee > Personal
The grid in this section contains data related to the operator's licenses that have been issued to an employee. Grid rows are sorted alphabetically by License Type, followed by License Number.
Each operator's license corresponds to a row in the grid. The rows are sorted alphabetically by License Type, followed by License Number.
To open a new Operator's License Detail section with fields available for entry, click the New button, located on the left side of the section header.
To edit an operator's license, click the edit icon
, located in the far-left cell of the appropriate row. The Operator's License Detail section opens below the grid.
To delete an operator's license from the grid, click the delete icon
, located immediately to the left of the License Type cell. A dialog displays to confirm your intention to delete.
The following table contains descriptions of the fields in the Operator's License Detail section:

| License Type | Required. From Maintenance, identifies the type of license the employee has. Click in the field to select from a list of valid types. |
| License Number | Required if License Type is selected. This entry requires entries in the License Type, Expiration Date and Statefields. |
| Expiration Date |
Required if License Type is selected. Date the license expires. Click the field prompt to select the date from a pop-up calendar. This selection alone or with State does not require the entry of a License Number. |
| State |
Required if License Type is selected. Code identifying the state that issued the license. Click in the field to select from a list of valid state codes. This selection alone or with Expiration Date does not require the entry of a License Number. |
If you do not want to save your entries, click Cancel. If you are satisfied with your entries, click Save. The data updates, as does the grid.
To save your entries, update the grid and clear the Operator's License Detail section for the entry of another record, click Save/New.
To assign user rights to Operator's Licenses processing, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > Security > Users. The User List page opens.
- Select (highlight) the user to be given rights to Operator's Licenses processing.
- Click Permissions. The Permissions page for the selected user opens, showing a grid of application components.
- Click the Show Search link in the top-right corner of the page. The Component Name, Application and Company Name search fields display.
- In the Component Name field, type Workforce Administration Personal.
- Select the Human Resources Application.
- Click Search. The grid refreshes to show only the Workforce Administration Personal components.
- In the Workforce Administration Personal - Operator's Licenses row, select the appropriate processes to assign the user.
- Click Save.
- For the authorization to take effect, the user must sign off and sign on the system.
