myNotifications

The New World ERP home page includes a myNotifications section that displays the notifications for the user that is currently signed on to the system.

Sort/Filter

There are four list boxes in the title bar which determine the information that displays in the myNotifications panel.

  1. Filters the list based on notification status. The default value is New; other options are Acted On and All.
  2. Filters the list based on the source module in which notifications occurred. (The list above is filtered by Receipt of Goods.)
  3. Filters the list based on the priority assigned to the notification. These values are from a validation set and are defined by your organization.
  4. Determines the sort order of the notifications in the list. The default value is Received; other options are Source/Priority and Priority/Source.

Calendar

When you click the Calendar icon in the title bar, the date search pop-up window displays.

The default date range is the previous month, ending on today’s date. Enter a different date range if desired. Both From Date and To Date are required. Click OK to display the results by date range.

List

The columns in the myNotifications list display show the following information:

New — Displays a check mark () image if the notification has not been read.

Source — Module that is the source of the notification.

Priority — The priority that was assigned to the notification.

Date — Date on which the notification was received.

Message — The information is dependent on the process that generated the notification. The value in this column is a hyperlink that displays additional information about the notification.

Notes — Displays a Notes () icon if notes are included. Click the icon to launch the Notes page where you can view the details of the note(s).

Buttons

There are also buttons in this section that perform the following functions:

Delete — Removes the notification entry.

Delete All Acted On — Removes all entries that have a status of Acted On.

Set To New — Gives the selected entry the status of New.
