Additional ICMA Layout

Use the new ICMA System Settings Maintenance page to configure deduction and benefit codes for ICMA reporting. This setup eliminates the need to select deductions and benefits every time you run the ICMA Report.

The left column of the grid on the Deduction Settings tab contains all active deduction codes. Using the dropdowns in the other columns, map reportable deduction codes to plan numbers, wage types and contribution types. To save your selections, click the Save button:

Available selections come from the following validation sets:

  • Plan Number = 684 ICMA Plan Number
  • Type = 685 ICMA Type
  • Contribution = 686 ICMA Contribution Type

All validation sets have been created for you. The Type and Contribution sets come pre-loaded with values; however, you will need to add the appropriate values to the Plan Number set:

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > System >Validation Sets > Validation Set List.
  2. Search for and select the grid row containing validation set number 684.

  3. Click Values. The Validation Set Values List page displays.
  4. Click New. The Validation Set Value page displays.
  5. In the Value field, enter the plan number.
  6. In the Description field, enter a description of the plan.
  7. Click Save/New.
  8. Repeat steps 5-7 for each of the remaining accounts.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Breadcrumb back to the Validation Set Values List page, where the plan numbers should display in a grid:

These values are available for selection on the Plan Number dropdown.

On the Benefits tab, for contributions the employer makes on behalf of employees, map applicable benefit codes in the left column of the grid to plan numbers and contribution types, clicking the Save button after each selection:

To navigate to the ICMA Report page, click the ICMA Report button at the bottom of this page.

Note: For the ICMA Settings Maintenance option to display on a user's state requirements menu, the user needs permission to the ICMA Report Settings Maintenance security component. ClosedFollow these steps.

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > Security > Users. The User List page displays.
  2. Use the filter in the User Name column to search for the user.
  3. Select the user's row.
  4. Click Permissions. The User Permissions page displays, containing a grid of security components and a filter panel.
  5. In the Search Security Components filter, type icma. The grid refreshes to display the ICMA Report Settings Maintenance component:

  6. Select Full permission.
  7. Click Save.
  8. For the permission to take effect, the user must log off and log back onto the system.

To accommodate a new layout in CSV format, a File Type field has been added to the ICMA Report page:

From the dropdown, select whether to run the report as a traditional Flat File or a CSV file.

With the new CSV format, you no longer need to select deductions and benefits on this page when you run the report; they already are set up on the new ICMA System Settings Maintenance page. Selecting a File Type of CSV disables the Deductions and Benefits tabs.
