An Audit Payroll Hour Entries checkbox has been added to the Hours Entry Setup tab in Company HR Settings:
By marking this box, you are able to monitor manual hours entry updates that may require investigation. Once a review is complete, the box should be cleared. Keeping it checked indefinitely may impact the performance of the hours entry system.
The Audit Payroll Hours Entries feature tracks the following details of each update:
- The person who made the update
- The hours code that was updated
- The employee associated with the update
An entire row from the Department Hours Entry table is captured on the Payroll Audit Report. All hours codes are recorded, even if only one code was updated. Every cell within the entry is audited:
Any change to one cell in Hours Code Entry triggers an update to all cells in the Payroll Audit Report, even if only one code was changed. Every cell within the entry is audited:
In Employee Hours Entry, each row containing any hours code that was updated is logged in the Payroll Audit Report:
