Updated California Check Format

The California payroll check has been updated.

To add the new check, navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > System > Form Layout:

The Format comes from validation set 22, Check Format, and does not require a specific name; the File Name, however, must be HRCheck_Standard_CA:

To print the checks from Print Payments, select the appropriate check Format (from validation set 22), and click OK:

On the check stub, each hours code is broken down by rate. In the example below, 20 hours were paid at a rate of 20.2800, and 30 hours were paid at a rate of 30.0000:

Although the Y.T.D Gross column displays 1,305.60 twice, both occurrences are associated with the same hours code, so the amount is added to the grand total only once.

The new check will refer to the ReadyForm Pay Rate in Company HR Settings (Maintenance > Human Resources > Company HR Settings > Check Information), where you can select whether to have the check display no pay rate, the base pay rate or the effective pay rate:
