Personnel Actions
Human Resources > Personnel Actions
From the Personnel Actions page, you may review, edit, create, approve, validate, print, cancel and post personnel actions.
All personnel actions are contained in a grid, with each row corresponding to a personnel action. You may sort or filter the grid by any column.
Personnel action numbers in the grid link to the applicable Workforce sections. You may view or edit the data in these sections according to your permissions set up at Maintenance > Human Resources > Personnel Actions > Codes.
To view or edit a personnel action, click the appropriate Number.
Use the Views field in the top-right corner of the Personnel Actions page to reload the grid with personnel actions that are in any of the following states:
- Active
- To Approve
- To Validate
- To Post
- Posted
- Canceled
- All
Note: The available options are based on your security permissions.
Show View Preferences
Use the Show View Preferences button to set a default view for the list of personnel actions; for example, to set the default to all actions that need approval, click Show View Preferences, and select To Approve in the
Select Default View field. After that, each time you open the Personnel Actions page, only the actions that need approval display.
If a personnel action record has a validation error, a red X displays in the Status column. Click the X to open a listing that contains a description of each error.
The bottom of the page contains a series of buttons that change depending on the

These buttons also are available from the Personnel Action Entry Workforce sections where you edit the data for personnel actions.
