New World ERP Open Finance (Data & Insights) Installation
Initial Setup (Typically done by Tyler staff):
- Project Manager needs to request Data & Insights Domain. Estimated SLA on the return of this information is 3-4 days per Data & Insights. The user used here should be generic and
- New World ERP DSS is required and must be running version 2019.1 or higher. This version of DSS is compatible with 2018.1 New World ERP.
- Data & Insights Open Finance project needs to be tied to the customer in Tyler Deploy. This should happen at contract signing time. The Data & Insights role is assigned to the application server tentacle in Tyler Deploy.
- HTTPS access from the server with the connector to *.socrata.com.
- Powershell 5.1 and .Net Framework 4.6.2 on the DSS server.
- Access to the sites listed in Appendix A of this document on the DSS server.
Install Steps:
- Log into Tyler Deploy and load up the Data & Insights Open Finance New World ERP project for the customer and the environment type you want. For Data & Insights, this is typically Prod.

Fill out the values based on the tooltips and field descriptions. The area in red should be provided by the project manager based on their ticket with Data & Insights Support.
Note: A service will install on the server based on the name put into the Service Name parameter. This defaults to SocrataIngressAgent{EnvironmentName}.
Post-Install Check:
Go to https://{customer domain}/admin/gateway (Domain that was entered into Tyler Deploy), and the newly deployed connector should show up there as connected and have 6 plugins (one for each integration plus the automation one for Open Expenditures). Implementation should be able to handle after this step.
The example below shows a dev environment where additional manual configuration would be needed. In a customer environment, you should see 6 plugins here in the Plugins column:

Appendix A
Tyler Deploy runs from a node-based AWS site to provide better connectivity. As such, the following ports and IP addresses need to be open on the appropriate servers:
