Request for Action Inquiry
The Request for Action Inquiry page allows you to search for a specific request for action (RFA) in the New World ERP system.
Enter or select data in any or all of the following fields to narrow your search for a specific RFA. If you want the search to return all RFAs, leave all of the fields blank and click Search.
To search for a specific RFA or several RFAs, follow the steps below:
- Go to Financial Management > Work Orders > Request For Action Inquiry.
- In Request Type, select the type of request to include in the search.
Note: The Keyword field performs a wildcard search on the following fields to maximize the data results that are returned: Case Request Number, Case Request Description, Case Request Reported By Name, Case Request Comments, Care Request Acknowledgment Confirmation Message, Case Request Notes, and Case Request Location.
- In Keyword, enter a keyword(s) or phrase on which to search for a RFA.
- In Status, select a status of the RFA to include in the search.
- In Priority, select the RFA priority.
- In Reported By, enter the name of a person who entered the request.
- In Employee Reported, enter or select the name of the employee who reported the request (if applicable).
- In Location Search Type, select a work order location type to include in the search.
- In Asset, select an asset to include in the search.
- If the first Duration check box is cleared, a Request Date range displays. In the From/To fields, select the beginning and end dates on which to search.
- Select the Duration check box to perform a search within a specified length of time in the Duration field. The Duration entry field displays.
- In the Duration entry field, type the value for the duration of time on which to search and select the time variable in the drop-down list.
- Type or select and Entered by User value to record who is creating the request for action.
- If the second Duration check box is cleared, anEntered on Date range displays. In the From/To fields, select the beginning and end dates on which to search.
- Select the Duration check box to perform a search within a specified length of time in the Duration field. The Duration entry field displays.
- In the Duration entry field, type the value for the duration of time on which to search and select the time variable in the drop-down list.
- Click Search. A list of requests is displayed that meets the search criteria entered.
- To view more details about the request for action, click the ? icon at the left of the row you want to view.
