Delinquent Charges List
The Delinquent Charges List page allows authorized users to view a list of all existing delinquent charges, add new delinquent charges, or edit or delete existing delinquent charges. To access the page, go to Financial Management > Miscellaneous Billing > Period End Processing > Delinquent Charges.
Delinquent Charges uses the standard workflow process that allows authorized users in your organization to generate the edit and error listing, validate, approve, and post delinquent charge batches. The Validation and Approvals icons may switch locations in the workflow list depending on the option selected in the Validation and Approval Sequence field on the Miscellaneous Billing tab on the Company FM Settings page.
Click Refresh at any time to repopulate and update the list to include any changes made by you or other authorized users..

Field | Description |

myTasks | This column displays a checkmark to denote the delinquent charge batches assigned to the user. They can be assigned to the user by approval level or if they are the posting user. |
Validated | This column displays a checkmark if the delinquent charge batch has been validated. It displays an X if the delinquent charge batch is not valid. It displays nothing if the delinquent charge batch has not been validated. |
Approvals | The number of approvals currently in place for the batch. It uses the standard Approval format (X of Y at Z), where X is the number of approval, Y is the number of approvals required, and Z is the current level. The number of levels necessary to approve a batch is based on your organization. For example, there could be three approval levels (department, city, county) and each level could require five approvals. It displays ‘Approved’ if the invoice has been approved. |
Department | The department associated with the batch. |
Fee Type | The fee type (e.g., late fee or finance charge) associated with the batch. |
Description | Description of the delinquent charge. |
G/L Date | Date on which the batches that are posted to the general ledger are recorded. |
To add a new delinquent charge batch click New. To edit an existing delinquent charge batch, click the Description hyperlink to open the existing record. See Add or Edit Delinquent Charges for more information.
To delete a delinquent charge batch, select the item in the list to highlight it and click Delete. The Delete button is hidden or disabled if you do not have the appropriate security permissions. If you are authorized, when you click Delete you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
Click Maintain Results to open the Delinquent Charge Items page where you can accept or waive the late fee or finance charge.
