General Tab - Miscellaneous Section

The Miscellaneous section contains fields that specify the company to which system settings apply and the departments that will be used throughout the application.

  1. Select the Company for which these settings are valid. The default value is the company defined on the General tab of the Company Suite Settings page. This field is in place to allow for the future functionality for multiple companies.
  2. Select the Utility Department that should be used as the default department for utilities. This field is required. It is populated with all departments defined in the system. The department selected will be used on the journal header row for journals resulting from Utility Management financial activity.
  3. Select the Aging Balances Report Threshold that determines how many accounts can display on the Aging Balances Report. If the number of accounts exceeds this setting, an error message displays on the report page, suggesting the selection of a smaller dataset.
  4. Select the Usage Charges Report Threshold that determines how many accounts can display on the Usage Charges Report. If the number of accounts exceeds this setting, an error message displays on the report page, suggesting the selection of a smaller dataset.
