General Tab - Route
The Routes section contains the controls that allow the organization to name the tiers for utility routes. The values defined here determine how many tiers the routes set up in the system may have (e.g., if only Route Levels 1 and 2 are provided here, the routes may be set up using only a two-tiered structure). The values also serve as a prefix for the numbers assigned to route tiers (e.g., Jurisdiction 100) and are the control labels for route tiers throughout the application.
- Enter in the Route Level 1 control the name your organization uses to identify the top tier of routes (e.g., jurisdiction). This field is required. The value may contain up to 16 characters.
- Enter in the Route Level 2 field the name your organization uses to identify the top tier of routes (e.g., zone). The value may contain up to 16 characters.
- Enter in the Route Level 3 field the name your organization uses to identify the top tier of routes (e.g., book). The value may contain up to 16 characters.
